On the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas, a special Gurmat Samagam was organized at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, the fourth Takht of the Sikh community. A large number of devotees and Panthic leaders participated in the religious gathering.
Prominent personalities, including Baba Tek Singh and Harjinder Singh Dhami, were present on the occasion and delivered important messages to the Sikh community.
Religious Ceremonies and Kirtan
The program began with the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib. The congregation was spiritually enriched through Katha by Giani Amarjit Singh.
The Ardas was performed by Giani Jagtar Singh, while the Raagi Jatha led by Bhai Lakhwinder Singh performed Gurbani Kirtan, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere.
Message of Unity and Key Issues
Addressing the gathering, Baba Tek Singh extended greetings on Khalsa Sajna Diwas and called for unity within the Sikh community. He urged the Panth to come together under one flag for important issues, including the release of Bandi Singhs.
He also spoke on the issue of religious conversions, highlighting its importance and calling for collective awareness.
SGPC President’s Address
SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami also congratulated the community and emphasized the need for unity. He stated that when people move away from the teachings of the Guru and start relying on individuals, it leads to decline.
He further mentioned that external forces are continuously trying to weaken the community, making unity more crucial than ever.
The event concluded with a strong message urging the Sikh community to remain united and stay connected with the teachings of the Guru.
