BJP Slams Himachal Congress Govt Over Financial Crisis, Unemployment and Broken Promises

BJP Targets Himachal Congress Over Debt, Jobs Crisis

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held an important meeting in Shimla where senior leaders strongly criticized the current Congress government in Himachal Pradesh over alleged financial mismanagement, unemployment, and anti-public policies.

The meeting was attended by senior BJP leader and MLA Vipin Parmar, chief spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal, media in-charge Randhir Sharma, and media coordinator Karn Nanda. Party leaders discussed the state’s financial condition and governance issues under the Congress administration.

Speaking on the occasion, Vipin Parmar alleged that the Congress government has pushed Himachal Pradesh toward financial bankruptcy. He claimed that despite taking loans exceeding ₹1 lakh crore, the government has failed to implement welfare schemes effectively. Parmar added that even after receiving significant financial assistance from the Central Government, citizens have not experienced any meaningful relief or development benefits.

Media in-charge Randhir Sharma stated that government employees, pensioners, and outsourced workers are being forced to protest on the streets to demand their rights. He accused the Congress party of making large promises before coming to power but failing to fulfill any of them. According to Sharma, the state government is engaging in “politics of false assurances and deception.”

Chief spokesperson Rakesh Jamwal also criticized the government, highlighting rising unemployment in the state. He said the Congress had promised five lakh jobs in its first cabinet meeting but is now failing to provide employment opportunities. Jamwal claimed that unemployment continues to rise while the government remains silent on the issue.

BJP leaders concluded that the people of Himachal Pradesh are increasingly disappointed with the policies of the Congress government and asserted that voters will respond decisively in the future.
