Kelong (Kameshwar Sharma): Special Voting Centre Under Scanner Ahead of Lahaul-Spiti Polls as the district administration intensified preparations for Panchayat Elections 2026 in the tribal district.
Deputy Commissioner Kiran Bhadana inspected the special polling station established at the BDO office complex in Keylong. The administration created this facility for government employees and officials who will remain on election duty during polling days.
As a result, these employees can cast their votes without traveling back to their original polling booths.

During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner closely reviewed each stage of the election process. She examined voter entry arrangements, identity verification procedures, ballot paper distribution, and voting secrecy measures.
