Sikander Kumar Targets Congress Ahead of Panchayat Polls

Sikander Kumar Slams Congress Before Panchayat Polls

Shimla (Kameshwar Sharma): BJP MP Prof. Sikander Kumar, while addressing a key meeting with office bearers of the Rohru Chuhara Mandal, launched a sharp attack on the Congress ahead of the upcoming municipal and Panchayati Raj elections.

He stated that the Congress would not be able to face its own performance in the mirror during the elections, alleging widespread failure of the state government on multiple fronts.

During his visit, Prof. Sikander Kumar also held a meeting at the Sakra booth, where he directly interacted with party workers and gathered grassroots feedback regarding the upcoming elections.

Addressing the workers, he questioned the functioning of the state government, claiming that it has failed to deliver on public welfare and has neglected key issues affecting the people. He urged party workers to take the government’s shortcomings to the masses.

On the other hand, he highlighted the achievements and welfare schemes of the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that the country has reached new heights of development and that benefits are reaching the last person in society.

The meeting mainly focused on preparations for the upcoming Panchayati Raj elections. Detailed discussions were held with office bearers and workers to formulate a strong strategy to ensure decisive victories for party candidates.

Workers at the Sakra booth were instructed to intensify door-to-door campaigns to promote central government policies. Discussions were also held on candidate selection at the panchayat level and election management strategies, with a decision to further strengthen public outreach in the coming days.

Senior mandal office bearers and a large number of local workers were present during the meeting.
