The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) honored three retiring officials during a special ceremony held today, recognizing their dedicated services to the Sikh institution.
Deputy Secretary Kuldeep Singh Rode, Palwinder Singh, and Incharge Davinder Singh Khushipur were felicitated by SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami and other officials. The retirees were presented with Guru’s blessings in the form of siropaos, Sri Sahib, and a model of Sri Harmandir Sahib as a mark of respect and appreciation.
Speaking on the occasion, Advocate Dhami praised the officials for their sincere and committed service throughout their tenure and offered prayers for their prosperous future.
SGPC members Bhai Amarjit Singh Chawla and Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhyasi also addressed the gathering, stating that many families serving within the SGPC carry forward the legacy of Sikh martyrs who made great sacrifices for the community. They appreciated the retiring employees for fulfilling their responsibilities with dedication and expressed hope that they would continue supporting Sikh institutions with selfless spirit in the future.
The ceremony was attended by several SGPC members, office bearers, and family members of the retired officials. Among the prominent attendees was Bhai Ishar Singh, son of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, along with senior SGPC administrators and representatives from Sri Darbar Sahib management.
The event concluded with collective prayers and expressions of gratitude for the services rendered by the retiring employees.
