Dharamshala: The second cultural evening of the historic Dhummu Shah Fair held in Dari near Dharamshala was celebrated with great enthusiasm, vibrant energy, and traditional fervor.
Settlement Officer Akshay Sood attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the cultural evening.
Addressing the gathering, Akshay Sood said that such traditional fairs are living symbols of the region’s rich cultural heritage and legacy. He emphasized that the Dhummu Shah Fair is not only a center of regional faith but also a powerful medium to preserve and pass on cultural identity to future generations.
He also appreciated the efforts of the local administration and organizing committee, stating that such events promote social harmony and brotherhood in society.
During the cultural evening, various local artists captivated the audience with colorful performances. Folk dances, music, and traditional instruments created a festive atmosphere throughout the venue.
On the occasion, Fair Officer and SDM Mohit Ratna, District Language Officer Amit Guleria, members of the fair committee, and other dignitaries were present.
A large number of local residents attended the event, adding to the vibrancy and success of the fair.
