Mandi Municipal Election 33 Polling Booths for Ward Polls

Mandi (Kameshwar Sharma): The administration has completed preparations for the Mandi Municipal Election Polling Booths setup across 13 wards. In total, officials will operate 33 polling stations to ensure smooth voting across the city.

Assistant Electoral Officer and SDM Sadar Rupinder Kaur confirmed the arrangement. She stated that voters will access all polling stations without difficulty.

Model Polling Booth to Improve Voter Experience

To improve voter convenience, the administration has developed a model polling station in Ward No. 11 Samkhetar at Government Girls Senior Secondary School Mandi.

Moreover, this booth will offer special facilities such as crèche services, first aid kits, ORS support, and ASHA worker assistance. As a result, senior citizens, women, and differently-abled voters will experience better support.

In addition, the Mandi Municipal Election Polling Booths plan focuses on inclusive participation and voter comfort.

Ward-Wise Booth Distribution Completed

The administration has carefully divided polling stations across all wards based on voter population and location.

Ward 1 Khalyar will host four booths, including KV Mandi Primary Wing, KV Lab, Government Primary School Bijan Dalwahan, and Chhipnu.

Ward 2 Purani Mandi will include two booths at the Government Senior Secondary School. Similarly, Ward 3 Paddal will have booths at BDO Office Bhiyuli and ITI Mandi.

Ward 4 Nela will operate three booths across government schools. Meanwhile, Ward 5 Mangwain will use ARCS Office and Sub-Registrar Office as polling centers.

Furthermore, Ward 6 Sanyard will include industry and tourism offices as polling locations. Ward 7 Talyahar will operate four booths, including school and PWD office rooms.

Ward 8 Palace Colony-1 will have two booths at the PWD Circle Office. Likewise, Ward 9 Palace Colony-2 will include three polling centers across offices and schools.

Ward 10 Suhda will operate booths in three school blocks. The Ward 11 Samkhetar will run three booths at the government girls school.

Ward 12 Bhagwahan will include heritage school, 10+2 block, and district library. Finally, Ward 13 Thanehra will operate two booths at DIET Mandi.

Strong Focus on Voter Facilities and Safety

Furthermore, the administration has prioritized voter comfort at all Mandi Municipal Election Polling Booths. Each station will provide drinking water, seating arrangements, and basic amenities.

In addition, officials will deploy trained election staff to manage the voting process efficiently. Consequently, voters will experience a smoother and more organized election process.

Security Arrangements Strengthened Across City

To ensure peaceful voting, the administration will deploy strong security forces at all polling stations. Moreover, coordination between police and election teams will maintain law and order throughout polling day.
