Amritsar (Dawarka Nath Rana): A delegation of the All India Kisan Sabha Punjab district unit, led by senior vice president Amritsar Comrade Sucha Singh Ajnala, met Deputy Chief Engineer of the Border Zone, Sukhraj Bahadur Marhalla.
During the meeting, the delegation honoured the official by presenting a bouquet and discussed several key issues related to electricity infrastructure in rural areas.
The Deputy Chief Engineer assured the farmers’ delegation that loose electrical wires would be tightened and wires passing through the Comrade Achhar Singh Chhina Stadium would be removed for safety and convenience.
He also assured that cases related to farmers who had deposited security amounts for transformers in 2007 would be reviewed on a priority basis.
The meeting was attended by Comrade Bhupinderjit Chhina, Suvinder Singh Mirankot, and Jaspal Sharma, among others.
