Jasbir Singh Patti Appointed National Vice President of IJU, Gets Key Regional Charge

Jasbir Singh Patti Named IJU National Vice President

Amritsar (Dwaraka Nath Rana): The Indian Journalists Union (IJU) has announced the appointment of S. Jasbir Singh Patti as its National Vice President.

The information was officially issued through a letter by IJU National President K.B. Pandit. Along with this elevation, Jasbir Singh Patti has also been assigned the responsibility of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh as regional in-charge.

K.B. Pandit stated that Jasbir Singh Patti has been serving the journalism field for the past 33 years and has earned a respected name through his dedicated work. He has consistently raised issues concerning journalists at various levels and actively fought for their rights.

During his career, he has also faced several challenges, including police action during protests for journalists’ demands. It was recalled that during the Akali government, he even faced police lathi charge while submitting a memorandum to a minister.

Recognizing his long-standing contributions and services, he has now been appointed as National Vice President of IJU.

Jasbir Singh Patti is also known for his strong presence in Sikh politics and currently contributes to multiple TV channels, frequently participating in debates and discussions on current affairs.
