Jailed Man Bajeke’s Audio Goes Viral, Alleges Harassment in Jail

Bajeke Jail Audio Viral Claims Harassment in Bathinda Jail

Bathinda: An audio clip of a man identified as “Pradhan Mantri Bajeke,” who has been in jail for the past three years, has gone viral on social media, sparking discussion over his allegations of mistreatment in prison.

In the viral audio, Bajeke claims that he is being harassed inside jail and threatened with additional cases for creating comedy content. He has appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, urging him to intervene in the matter. He has also requested political leader Ravneet Bittu to raise his voice regarding the issue.

According to available information, Bajeke has been in custody for nearly three years. He was earlier detained under the National Security Act (NSA) and spent around two years in Dibrugarh Jail before being shifted to Bathinda Jail, where he is currently lodged.

In the audio message, he alleges that he is being kept in restrictive conditions and claims, “I am just a person who makes comedy videos, yet I am being threatened with new cases.” He also alleged that he is not being allowed to visit religious places and claimed that his character is being defamed.

Bajeke further appealed for his message to be conveyed to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann through the audio.

Authorities have not officially responded to the viral audio at this stage, and the authenticity of the claims has not been independently verified.

The incident has gained attention online, with users sharing the audio widely and raising questions about the conditions of inmates and freedom of expression in such cases.
