Panchkula: The Haryana Government has taken strict action and suspended Satbir Singh Kadian, Engineer-in-Chief (YWS North) of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, with immediate effect.
According to official orders, the suspension has been initiated over allegations of financial irregularities. The department has issued formal instructions regarding the action.
As per the order, during the suspension period, Satbir Singh Kadian will be entitled to subsistence allowance as per the provisions of the Haryana Civil Services (General) Rules, 2016.
His headquarters during the suspension period has been fixed at Panchkula.
The suspension order has been signed by Additional Chief Secretary (Irrigation and Water Resources), Anurag Agarwal, IAS, and comes into effect from April 15, 2026.
Further departmental action is expected following the ongoing inquiry into the matter.
