Fourth Bus of Pilgrims Leaves Under Tirth Yatra Scheme

Amritsar (Suraj Kamlesh): Under the “Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojana,” the fourth bus carrying pilgrims was flagged off from Newa Pind in Jandiala Guru constituency by Punjab Cabinet Minister and local MLA Harbhajan Singh E.T.O..

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the scheme is not just a government initiative but a meaningful service connected to the faith, devotion, and spiritual well-being of elderly citizens. He added that the initiative is helping senior citizens visit sacred pilgrimage sites, bringing them peace, satisfaction, and happiness.

Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. emphasized that the Punjab government is giving top priority to the safety, comfort, and convenience of all pilgrims so that they can complete their journey with full devotion and ease.

He further stated that the scheme was originally launched from Makhanwindi village in the Jandiala Guru constituency and has been progressing successfully with strong public support. According to him, more buses carrying pilgrims will be sent in the coming days under the same initiative.

The programme is being widely appreciated by local residents, who have expressed gratitude for the opportunity given to senior citizens to undertake religious journeys with government support.
