ED Raids Punjab Minister Sanjeev Arora’s Premises in Money Laundering Probe

ED Raids Punjab Minister Sanjeev Arora in Probe

Ludhiana: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted simultaneous raids at around 10 locations linked to Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora early Thursday morning, intensifying political activity in the state.

The ED team also searched Arora’s residence in Ludhiana, where entry and exit were reportedly restricted during the operation. According to sources, the action is part of an ongoing investigation related to alleged money laundering. However, no official detailed statement has been released yet.

Reports suggest that Sanjeev Arora was not present at his residence during the raid, as he had already left to attend a scheduled cabinet meeting.

These back-to-back enforcement actions have stirred political tensions in Punjab. Earlier, raids were conducted at locations linked to Lovely Professional University and Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal, adding to the ongoing political heat in the state.

The ED officials are currently examining documents and gathering evidence as part of the investigation. More revelations are expected in the coming days as the probe progresses.
