Drug Awareness Workshop in Chopal School by Police Team

Drug Awareness Workshop Chopal by Police Initiative

Chopal (Kameshwar Sharma): The Drug Awareness Workshop Chopal was organized at Government Senior Secondary School Chopal under the school adoption program of Himachal Pradesh Police. Shimla Police launched this initiative to educate young students about the dangers of drug abuse and to build a drug-free society.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chopal led the Drug Awareness Workshop Chopal session. He directly interacted with students and explained how drug use harms the body, mind, and social life. He also urged students to stay alert and avoid any form of substance abuse.

Awareness on Health and Social Risks

During the session, officers clearly explained the harmful effects of drugs. They said drugs damage physical health and weaken mental strength. In addition, drugs create social problems and destroy family relationships.

Moreover, the DSP highlighted that addiction can ruin education and stop career growth. Therefore, students must stay focused on studies and avoid negative influences.

Encouraging a Healthy Lifestyle

Furthermore, the Drug Awareness Workshop Chopal encouraged students to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Students received guidance to choose sports, education, and creative activities instead of harmful habits.

In addition, officers motivated students to spread awareness in their families and communities. They asked them to become role models for a drug-free society.

Active Student Participation

Students actively participated in the workshop. They asked questions and shared their views on drug prevention. As a result, the session became interactive and engaging.

After the session, students took a strong pledge. They promised to stay away from drugs and help others understand their dangers. Consequently, the workshop created a positive impact on young minds.

Continuous Efforts by Shimla Police

Importantly, this is not the first Drug Awareness Workshop Chopal conducted in the school. In fact, Shimla Police has already organized six awareness programs in the same institution.

Thus, the police continue their long-term mission to protect youth from drug addiction. They also aim to strengthen awareness at the grassroots level.

Building a Drug-Free Society

Finally, Shimla Police stated that such programs will continue in future. They believe consistent awareness is the key to preventing drug abuse.

Therefore, the Drug Awareness Workshop Chopal plays a major role in shaping responsible citizens. It helps students understand risks and encourages them to support a drug-free society.
