Amritsar: ( Rajesh Sandhu ) In a major initiative to promote Punjabi culture and traditional cuisine among global visitors, the Amritsar Haveli Group has launched a new outlet in the holy city of Amritsar near the route leading to the Golden Temple.
The new restaurant, located at Town Hall, aims to introduce domestic and international pilgrims visiting the Golden Temple to authentic Punjabi food and cultural hospitality. The outlet offers a wide range of traditional Punjabi dishes, along with café services and bakery products under one roof.
Dr Rabjit Singh Grover, Managing Director of Amritsar Haveli Group, said the initiative is driven by the vision of promoting Punjabi heritage and cuisine across the world. He noted that the group already operates around 100 outlets across India and continues to expand its presence.
He added that Amritsar receives lakhs of devotees daily from across India and abroad, many of whom wish to experience local culture and traditional food. Keeping this in mind, the new outlet has been strategically opened near the route to the Golden Temple to provide visitors with an authentic cultural and culinary experience.
The restaurant has been designed to reflect Punjabi heritage and offers visitors a complete experience of traditional food in a culturally rich environment. The management has also invited tourists and food lovers visiting Amritsar to experience the new outlet and enjoy Punjabi hospitality.
