The procedure involved a bilateral video endoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy (B/L VEIL) and bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection (B/L PLND), performed by renowned robotic surgery expert and surgical oncologist Dr. Sheshank. The surgery was completed with exceptional precision and marks a significant advancement in minimally invasive cancer treatment.
According to hospital officials, this is the first-ever surgery of its kind in India performed using the MizO robotic system, highlighting Amandeep Hospital’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge medical technologies.
