The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has officially launched a large-scale political campaign in Punjab keeping the 2027 Assembly elections in focus. The party announced that thousands of rallies will be organized across the state to showcase the achievements of its four-year governance.
The campaign began from Khansi Kalan village in the Sahnewal constituency of Ludhiana, where a massive rally was organized under the leadership of Cabinet Minister and Sahnewal MLA Hardeep Singh Mundian. Senior party leader Manish Sisodia attended the event as the chief guest.
During the rally, party leaders highlighted the government’s work over the past four years, stating that AAP will approach voters based on its performance. Leaders claimed that welfare initiatives such as free electricity, a ₹10 lakh health insurance scheme, women-centric benefits, and doorstep ration delivery have provided significant relief to the public.
Addressing the gathering, Hardeep Singh Mundian said the rally marked only the beginning of a statewide outreach campaign, adding that similar events would soon be held across every region of Punjab. He asserted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, the government has delivered benefits to every section of society.
Speaking from the stage, Manish Sisodia said the party is receiving strong public support in Punjab and has set a target of winning more than 100 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections. He credited improvements in education, healthcare services, and anti-corruption measures for increasing public satisfaction.
Sisodia also highlighted reforms in government schools, expansion of Mohalla Clinics, and improvements in public hospitals, stating that these initiatives have given a new direction to Punjab’s development.
