Following the directions of the Punjab Government, large-scale Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) were organized across government schools throughout the state to strengthen the quality of education and ensure active participation of parents in students’ academic development.
As part of this initiative, South constituency MLA Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar specially attended a PTM program held at Shaheed Gurmeet Singh School of Eminence. During the event, he interacted directly with school management, teachers, and parents, sharing insights on ongoing reforms in Punjab’s education system.
During the meeting, parents openly discussed various issues related to students’ academic performance, school facilities, and the overall learning environment. Many parents emphasized that such meetings help strengthen coordination between schools and families, which plays a vital role in the holistic development of children.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Nijjar stated that the Punjab Government is committed to bringing long-term transformational changes in the education sector. He highlighted that initiatives like the “Schools of Eminence” aim to provide students with high-quality education and modern infrastructure, enabling them to excel and contribute to the nation’s progress.
Parents and attendees appreciated the government’s efforts toward improving the education system and expressed gratitude for initiatives focused on student development and academic excellence.
