Yadvinder Goma Announces Key Projects in Jaisinghpur

Jaisinghpur (Kameshwar Sharma): Yadvinder Goma Announces Key Projects during his visit to Jalari and Nahlana villages in Jaisinghpur, where he reviewed development works and interacted with local residents. Himachal Pradesh Ayush, Law, Youth Services and Sports Minister Yadvinder Goma listened to public grievances and directed officials to ensure their quick resolution.

According to the minister, the state government remains committed to balanced rural development and better public services.

Yadvinder Goma Announces Key Projects for Roads and Transport

While addressing a public meeting in Jalari, Goma said the road tarring work in the area has been completed successfully. As a result, local residents now have better transportation facilities.

In addition, he said authorities have replaced a damaged transformer to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply.

The minister also announced ₹9 lakh for the construction of the road leading to Tarinda village. Furthermore, he said work on the project will begin soon and finish within the scheduled timeline.

He added that the government is making efforts to launch a Palampur–Sarimol bus service. Once operational, the service will improve connectivity for residents.

Healthcare Facilities to Improve

Yadvinder Goma directed officials to prepare an estimate for a sports ground in Jalari. Meanwhile, he said the government will complete the project on priority.

He also announced that dialysis services will soon start at Jaisinghpur Hospital. Moreover, the hospital has recently received four new doctors and a modern X-ray machine. These improvements will strengthen healthcare services for local residents.

Water Supply and CHO for Nahlana

Later, while addressing another gathering in Nahlana, Goma said the government is strengthening infrastructure in rural areas.

He announced that a Community Health Officer (CHO) will soon join the Nahlana Community Health Centre. Additionally, the government will take permanent steps to solve drinking water issues in the area.

The minister said construction of a new water tank will begin within the next two to three months. Besides this, he announced ₹2 lakh for development work at the local cremation ground.

Appeal Against Drug Abuse

During the programme, Yadvinder Goma urged young people to stay away from drugs. He described drug addiction as a serious threat to families and society.

Furthermore, he appealed to residents to immediately report anyone involved in the illegal trade or use of narcotics, including chitta. According to him, public cooperation is essential to make Himachal Pradesh drug-free.
