Chandigarh: In a significant humanitarian initiative, the Punjab Government has ensured that five Bangladeshi children safely returned to their homeland. The Bangladeshi Children Reunited With Families initiative took place under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Dr Baljit Kaur said authorities found the five children in a border area during 2023. Subsequently, Child Welfare Committees ordered officials to place them in children’s homes across Punjab.
