Free Eye Camp Helps 150 Students in Amritsar School

Amritsar (Dawarka Nath Rana): Bharat Vikas Parishad Main organized a two-day eye check-up camp at Arya Samaj Girls School, located at Lohgarh Gate, benefiting around 150 students.

The camp was conducted under the leadership of District President Nainish Behl and focused on the early detection and treatment of eye-related issues among children. During the screening, students identified with serious conditions will be provided further medical treatment, including free surgeries if required.

In addition to free eye check-ups, medicines were also distributed at no cost. The organizers ensured that children diagnosed with eye problems would receive proper follow-up care and necessary medication.

The screening process will continue on the second day of the camp as well. Speaking on the occasion, Nainish Behl highlighted that in today’s digital age, children are increasingly experiencing eye strain due to prolonged screen exposure. He emphasized that timely diagnosis plays a crucial role in preventing and treating eye diseases at an early stage.

He further added that Bharat Vikas Parishad remains committed to social service and will continue organizing similar health camps in other schools in the future.

The initiative was widely appreciated by the school principal and parents, who noted that such camps provide significant support to economically weaker families.

Prominent members present at the event included General Secretary T.R. Mahajan, Vice President Sumit Puri, Principal Manju, A.N. Chabba, and other members of the organization.
