Amritsar (Dawarka Nath Rana): A delegation of Shiv Sena Bharati, led by National Chief Ajay Seth, met newly appointed ACP Central Surinder Singh in Amritsar and extended their congratulations on his new posting.
During the meeting, Ajay Seth honored ACP Surinder Singh with traditional gestures, including presenting sweets and tying a turban. The delegation also held discussions regarding maintaining peace and controlling crime in the city.
Ajay Seth praised ACP Surinder Singh as an honest and dedicated officer, highlighting his role during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he worked tirelessly to assist the public. He added that drug peddlers and gangsters fear his strict approach toward crime control.
He further stated that such committed officers are crucial for ensuring law and order in Amritsar, often referred to as the holy city. He noted that ACP Surinder Singh actively addresses public complaints by directly involving subordinate officials to ensure timely resolution.
The delegation expressed pride in officers like Surinder Singh, who remain vigilant against crime and drug trafficking wherever they are posted in Punjab.
