Baddi (Himachal Pradesh): A murder case has been reported from Bilanwali Labana area under Baddi region, where the body of a young man was found lying in a field with visible head injuries. Police confirmed that the victim had died on the spot.
Following a complaint, Baddi Police have registered a case at the local police station and initiated a detailed investigation into the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Omkar Chaudhary, son of Dilawar Singh, resident of village Chhitawar, Post Kiratpur, Tehsil and District Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. According to initial information, the victim had an altercation with some individuals late last night, after which the incident occurred.
Based on preliminary investigation, police have identified two suspected individuals linked to the case.
Considering the seriousness of the matter, Superintendent of Police Baddi, Vinod Dhiman, personally visited the crime scene and issued necessary directions to the investigation teams.
An FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team also reached the spot and collected important evidence from the crime scene.
Baddi Police have formed multiple teams and are conducting raids at possible hideouts to apprehend the accused. Authorities have assured that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in the murder soon.
