Mini Badminton Championship Begins with 180 Players

Shimla (Kameshwar Sharma): Shimla Mini Badminton Championship commenced today at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex. Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap inaugurated the event. Assistant Commissioner Devi Chand Thakur attended as the guest of honor.

The championship is being organized under the International Shimla Summer Festival 2026. Meanwhile, the tournament will continue from June 10 to June 13, 2026.

180 Players Participate in Championship

Around 180 players from across Shimla district are participating in the competition.

The tournament features Under-11, Under-13, and Under-15 categories for both boys and girls.

Furthermore, the event provides young athletes with an opportunity to showcase their badminton skills and gain competitive experience.
