Shimla LSD Drug Trafficking Case STF Links Surface

Shimla (Kameshwar Sharma): The Shimla LSD Drug Trafficking Case has taken a major turn after fresh investigations exposed new links in an alleged interstate narcotics network operating across Himachal Pradesh and other states.

According to Shimla Police, investigators are conducting the probe under FIR No. 35/2026. registered on March 10, 2026, under Sections 22 and 29 of the NDPS Act along with Section 238 of the BNS. Police officials stated that the probe remains active and is progressing through scientific, digital, and evidence-based methods.

Moreover, investigators claim several shocking details have surfaced during the ongoing inquiry into the high-profile LSD trafficking case.

Commercial Quantity of LSD Recovered in Shimla

Police officials revealed that on March 10, 2026, authorities recovered 562 LSD strips, commonly known as stamp-sized LSD papers, from accused Sandeep Sharma and Priya Sharma.

The seized contraband weighed 11.570 grams, which falls under the commercial quantity category under the NDPS Act.

Following the recovery, police launched an extensive investigation into the Shimla LSD Drug Trafficking Case to identify the suppliers and distribution chain connected to the accused.

Kerala-Based Supplier Arrested From Gurugram

During the backward linkage investigation, police identified the alleged supplier as Naviel Harrison, a resident of Calicut, Kerala.

Subsequently, Shimla Police arrested him from Gurugram, Haryana, on March 13, 2026.

According to investigators, Naviel Harrison allegedly supplied the LSD consignment recovered in Shimla. Therefore, police expanded the investigation to trace additional interstate connections linked to the network.

Four STF Personnel Also Came Under Scanner

As the investigation progressed, police reportedly discovered suspicious involvement of four STF personnel in the trafficking network.

After analyzing digital, physical, and technical evidence, Shimla Police arrested all four accused personnel on March 19, 2026.

Police officials said they arrested the accused after thoroughly verifying multiple pieces of evidence linked to the Shimla LSD Drug Trafficking Case.

Furthermore, investigators are now examining whether the accused maintained direct operational links with the larger narcotics network.

Kullu Hotel Connection Emerges During Probe

Investigators also found that the alleged drug deal took place at Sea Rock Hotel in Kullu district. According to police findings, accused Naviel Harrison allegedly handed over the LSD consignment there.

During the investigation, authorities seized the hotel’s hard disk and DVR system for forensic examination. However, forensic experts reportedly found that someone had deliberately deleted and destroyed the CCTV footage.

As a result, the investigation moved toward identifying individuals involved in tampering with digital evidence linked to the Shimla LSD Drug Trafficking Case.

Hotel Partner Arrested for Destroying Evidence

Based on forensic and digital findings, police concluded that hotel partner owner Sanjeev Kumar allegedly played a role in destroying evidence along with other accused persons.

Police arrested Sanjeev Kumar on May 16, 2026. Officials said he is a resident of Bhushona village under Bhuntar tehsil in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh.

According to investigators, the accused allegedly attempted to erase crucial CCTV evidence connected to the narcotics transaction.

Shimla Police Continues Zero Tolerance Drive

Shimla Police stated that the investigation into the Shimla LSD Drug Trafficking Case remains ongoing. Police officials are currently examining other individuals, digital records, and financial links connected to the network.

Additionally, police reiterated their “zero tolerance” policy against drug trafficking and warned that strict action would continue against those involved in narcotics crimes.

Authorities also said more arrests and revelations may emerge as the investigation progresses further.
