New Delhi: Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Harmeet Singh Kalka has announced that noted social worker and prominent Panthic figure Satpal Singh Manga has been appointed as the General Secretary of Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi State).
The appointment has been made in recognition of his long-standing social and religious services, leadership qualities, and contribution to community welfare. Harmeet Singh Kalka stated that Satpal Singh Manga has played an active role in various social, educational, and religious organizations over the years.
He currently serves as Chairman of Sadar Bazaar Traders Association, President of Guru Angad Public School, a key figure in Sikh Welfare Society Ashok Vihar, and Secretary of Gurdwara Singh Sabha. Through these roles, he has contributed significantly to community development and religious service activities.
The Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi State leadership expressed confidence that his inclusion as General Secretary will further strengthen the party and help raise Panthic issues more effectively.
In addition, Harmeet Singh Kalka also announced that Satpal Singh Manga has been given another important responsibility within DSGMC. He has been appointed as Senior Vice Chairman of the Golak Committee of DSGMC. This role is expected to strengthen financial and administrative operations of the committee.
Congratulating him on both appointments, Kalka expressed hope that Satpal Singh Manga will continue his dedicated service to society and play a key leadership role in strengthening both the party and Panthic institutions.
