Chandigarh: Amid rising electricity demand in Punjab, the PSPCL Electricity Load Rule Punjab has become stricter for consumers using power beyond their approved limit.
Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has issued fresh instructions against consumers who use electricity above their sanctioned load.
Under the new rules, consumers who exceed their approved electricity load by more than 10% will receive an official notice within seven days.
The move aims to improve power management and reduce revenue losses across Punjab.
Consumers May Face Penalties and FIRs
