Sikkim: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a two-day official visit to Sikkim. During his tour, he interacted with children in Gangtok on Tuesday morning and joined them in a friendly game of football, creating a cheerful and energetic atmosphere.
The Prime Minister also shared beautiful pictures of the interaction on his social media platform X, highlighting the joyful moment spent with young students.
Posting on X, PM Modi wrote, “A wonderful morning in Gangtok, nothing beats playing football with my young friends in Sikkim!” He further added that the football session with the children was highly energetic and enjoyable.
The images shared by the Prime Minister quickly gained attention online, showcasing his informal and engaging interaction with the youth.
During his visit, PM Modi is also set to attend the closing ceremony of Sikkim’s 50th Statehood Day celebrations. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth over ₹4,000 crore, aimed at boosting infrastructure and regional development in the state.
The visit reflects the government’s focus on strengthening connectivity, development, and youth engagement in the northeastern region.
