Mandi (Kameshwar Sharma): The brutal murder of Siya Guleria from Nain village under Gopalpur Panchayat in Sarkaghat subdivision has left the entire family and local area in deep shock and grief.
In a deeply emotional and courageous step, the victim’s father, Joginder Singh, visited the exact spot where his daughter was allegedly murdered and performed a peace havan seeking her soul’s peace and justice.
The tragic incident has shaken the region, with residents expressing grief and outrage over the heinous crime. While the father continues to fight for justice, he also undertook religious rituals to find emotional solace and pay tribute to his daughter.
The rituals were performed in two phases. In the morning, a peace prayer and havan were conducted at the family home with close relatives in attendance. Later, the father and family members visited the crime scene, where they performed another havan and offered prayers for the peace of Siya’s soul and to cleanse the site of negativity.
It is worth noting that Siya Guleria, a college student, was brutally murdered on April 13 while she was on her way to college, around one kilometer from her home. The shocking incident triggered widespread grief and anger across the region.
The family is currently awaiting justice while continuing to pay tribute to Siya’s memory through religious and emotional rituals.
