IPS Officer Transfer in MP: Ayush Jakhar Shifted

IPS Officer Transfer in MP Ayush & Wife Posted in Jabalpur

Mandhya Pradesh: A major IPS Officer Transfer in MP reshuffle took place on Friday. The state government transferred eight IPS officers across different districts.

Meanwhile, the transfer list gained strong attention due to Ayush Jakhar and his wife Anu Beniwal. Authorities posted both officers together in Jabalpur.

Furthermore, this IPS Officer Transfer in MP order triggered political discussion because of an earlier controversy linked to Jakhar’s posting in Shivpuri.

Ayush Jakhar Posted as ASP in Jabalpur

The government shifted Ayush Jakhar to Jabalpur as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP). Earlier, he served as SDOP in Karera, Shivpuri district. Additionally, Jakhar belongs to the 2022 IPS batch. He quickly built a reputation as a strict and independent officer.

Unlike many officers, he took firm action without political influence. Therefore, he often remained in the spotlight during sensitive cases. Originally, Jakhar comes from Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan. His father, Dileep Jakhar, also served in the IPS before retirement. As a result, he grew up in a disciplined police environment.

After preparing in Delhi, he cleared the UPSC exam in 2022. Subsequently, he joined the Madhya Pradesh cadre and started field postings.

Political Tension Around Earlier Case

However, this IPS officer transfer Madhya Pradesh decision connects to a controversial incident. In April, Dinesh Lodhi, son of MLA Pritam Lodhi, allegedly hit pedestrians with a Thar vehicle in Karera. Police immediately registered a case after the incident.

Following this, SDOP Ayush Jakhar took strict action and ensured FIR registration.

Meanwhile, political tension increased after the MLA objected to police action. He reportedly demanded an apology from the officer. Moreover, the situation escalated when threats surfaced during the dispute. Despite pressure, Jakhar did not withdraw the case.

Eventually, political leadership stepped in and calmed the situation. Afterward, the controversy reduced but continued to attract attention.

Anu Beniwal Also Shifted to Jabalpur

In the same IPS Officer Transfer in MP order, the government transferred Anu Beniwal as well. She currently served as Additional SP in Gwalior. Now, authorities posted her to Jabalpur.

Notably, Anu Beniwal also belongs to the 2022 IPS batch. She earned a strong reputation for strict field policing. Because of her bold style, people often call her “Lady Singham.” Additionally, she handled several important law-and-order cases. She was born in Delhi’s Pitampura area. Later, she studied at Hindu College before clearing the UPSC exam.

In 2023, she married Ayush Jakhar. Consequently, both officers now serve together after the latest transfer.

Eight IPS Officers Transferred Across State

Overall, the IPS Officer Transfer in MP order included eight IPS officers. Authorities stated that the reshuffle aims to improve administrative efficiency. Additionally, they expect better coordination between districts.
