BJP Launches Sharp Attack on Congress
The Himachal Panchayat Elections turned politically aggressive after Rajeev Bindal strongly criticized the Congress government.
He claimed that people across Himachal Pradesh are disappointed with the three-year tenure of the Congress government led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
According to Bindal, Congress failed to fulfill several important election promises made during the Assembly elections.
Himachal Panchayat Elections: BJP Raises Women Allowance Issue
One of the main issues raised during the Himachal Panchayat Elections campaign was the promise of ₹1500 monthly financial assistance for women.
Rajeev Bindal alleged that Congress used this promise to gain votes but failed to implement the scheme even after 42 months.
He claimed that eligible women are still waiting for the promised financial support.
Bindal also accused the government of misleading women voters during elections.
BJP Questions Government Over Jobs
The BJP leader also attacked the Congress government over unemployment.
During the Himachal Panchayat Elections, Bindal said Congress had promised one lakh government jobs in its first cabinet meeting.
However, he claimed the government failed to provide permanent employment opportunities for youth.
He stated that many unemployed youngsters are now protesting on the streets.
Salary, Pension and Farmer Issues Raised
Rajeev Bindal also highlighted issues faced by employees, pensioners, farmers, and orchard growers.
He alleged that government employees are not receiving salaries on time and many medical reimbursement bills remain pending.
He further claimed pensioners are struggling to receive pensions regularly.
According to BJP leaders, farmers and orchard growers are also unhappy with the policies of the current government.
The Himachal Panchayat Elections campaign is therefore witnessing strong political attacks from the opposition.
Himachal Panchayat Elections: BJP Targets Law and Order Situation
Bindal claimed that law and order in Himachal Pradesh has weakened significantly.
He also alleged that development work across the state has slowed down.
During the Himachal Panchayat Elections, he said the Chief Minister himself admitted multiple times that the government lacks funds for development projects.
According to BJP leaders, this situation has increased public dissatisfaction.
BJP Expresses Confidence Ahead of Voting
Despite the political confrontation, BJP leaders remain confident about the elections.
Rajeev Bindal stated that voters will strongly support BJP-backed candidates during the Panchayat elections.
