Kandaghat (Kameshwar Sharma): Kandaghat witnessed an important awareness campaign as the Fire Safety Mock Drill in Kandaghat School was organised at Dayanand Adarsh Vidyalaya. The Fire and Safety Department Solan conducted the program to educate students about fire prevention and emergency response techniques.

During the awareness session, DCPO and firefighter Ashok Sharma along with firefighter Ravindra Kumar explained different methods to control fire safely and effectively.

The team focused on creating awareness among school students about handling emergency situations calmly and responsibly.

Fire Safety Mock Drill: Experts Explain Different Types of Fire

As part of the Fire Safety Mock Drill in Kandaghat School, Ashok Sharma explained fire safety concepts in simple and easy language so students could understand them clearly.

He informed students that people should not panic during incidents involving gas cylinder leaks or electrical fires at home. Instead, they should act carefully and follow proper safety procedures.

Moreover, he explained that fire mainly falls into four major categories. Therefore, different types of fire extinguishers are used to control different kinds of fires. Students learned how selecting the correct extinguisher can help prevent serious damage during emergencies.
