Chandigarh: In a major anti-drug operation, Haryana Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) arrested two real brothers from Punjab for allegedly supplying heroin in Haryana. The Drug Smuggling Shock operation took place during a naka checking drive in Fatehabad district.

Police recovered 22.30 grams of heroin and also seized a Swift Dzire car that the accused allegedly used for drug trafficking activities.

According to officials, the Anti-Narcotics Cell team had established a naka near the Brahmanwala police outpost on the Ratia-Budhlada road. Officers were checking suspicious vehicles entering Haryana from Punjab.

During the operation, police noticed a white Swift Dzire approaching from the Budhlada side. However, the driver allegedly attempted to turn the vehicle after spotting the police team.

As a result, officers immediately surrounded the area and intercepted the car.

During the search operation, officers recovered 22.30 grams of heroin from their possession after following legal procedures.

Following the recovery, police registered FIR No. 109/2026 at Sadar Ratia Police Station under Sections 21B, 61, and 85 of the NDPS Act.
