The lawyer claimed that investigators later added new legal provisions and then obtained a production warrant based on those changes. He maintained that the sequence of events raised legal concerns.
Aujla Remains in NSA Custody
The defense also informed the court that Gurinder Pal Singh Aujla remains lodged in Goindwal Jail under the National Security Act.
According to the lawyer, police did not invoke the Arms Act when they first arrested Aujla. He alleged that investigators introduced those sections only later during the probe.
