Shimla (Kameshwar Sharma): Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu during his one-day visit to Kasumpti Assembly constituency in district Shimla inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 15 development projects worth ₹51.10 crore in Dharech and Chiog.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several key road projects aimed at improving rural connectivity. These include the Fagu to Dharech road (₹15.23 crore), Dharech to Chatog via Manda road (₹7.85 crore), Darn to Jubbar road (₹4.81 crore), Kheti Jubbar to Khadrav road (₹1.50 crore), Fagu to Sariu road (₹2 crore), Bangapani to Chadail road (₹2.70 crore), Chiog to Jathai road (₹3 crore), Dhaleu to Janu Nala road (₹2.50 crore), Nhog to Kaneshi road (₹2.60 crore), Dhaleu to Dhar road (₹1 crore), Kyanala to Sarog road (₹2 crore), Chiyog Bazaar to Mehana village road (₹90 lakh), Talai-Dehna to Karyal village road (₹1 crore), and the community centre and panchayat ghar at Dharech (₹1.14 crore).
In addition, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Chiog bypass road constructed at a cost of ₹2.85 crore, further enhancing local transportation infrastructure in the region.
The projects are expected to significantly improve road connectivity, boost rural development, and provide better access to essential services for the local population in Kasumpti constituency.
