Bhagwant Mann Visits Talwandi Sabo on Baisakhi

Amritsar: On the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann paid obeisance at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib and sought blessings during the religious celebrations.

The visit took place at Gurdwara Ber Sahib Degsar, where the sacred Akhand Path Sahib had commenced under the leadership of Baba Balbir Singh, the 14th head of the Budha Dal.

After offering prayers, the Chief Minister met Baba Balbir Singh and discussed various Panthic matters along with administrative aspects related to the Budha Dal camp. During the interaction, Baba Balbir Singh highlighted the glorious and valorous history of the Budha Dal, providing detailed insights into its legacy.

As a mark of सम्मान, Baba Balbir Singh honored Bhagwant Mann with traditional Sikh symbols, including a siropa, Sri Sahib, and a shawl.

Several prominent personalities were present on the occasion, including MLA Baljinder Kaur and other religious and community leaders.

The visit of the Chief Minister during Baisakhi holds significance, as the festival marks the स्थापना of the Khalsa Panth and is one of the most important occasions in Sikhism. His presence at Talwandi Sabo further reflects the cultural and religious importance of the celebrations in Punjab.
