Chamunda Dham Development Meeting Reviews Growth Plans

A meeting of the Shri Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham Special Area Development Authority was held under the chairmanship of Authority Chairman and Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa at the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) auditorium in Dharamshala.

Officials from various government departments associated with the special development area participated in the meeting and reviewed ongoing administrative and developmental activities in the region.

During the session, Member Secretary of the Authority and Divisional Town Planner, Dharamshala, Rasik Sharma presented a detailed overview of the authority’s key initiatives and ongoing projects.

The meeting witnessed extensive discussions on development works, revenue strengthening, and administrative proposals aimed at improving infrastructure and governance in the special area. The Deputy Commissioner stated that the funds available with the Special Area Development Authority (SADA) would be effectively utilized for developmental projects across the region.

He further emphasized that, on the lines of urban local bodies, the authority would strengthen waste management and disposal systems within its jurisdiction to ensure better sanitation and environmental sustainability.

Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa directed officials to maintain transparency and quality standards in all development projects while prioritizing balanced and sustainable regional development.

Officials from multiple departments were present on the occasion.
