    Amritsar (Suraj Kamlesh): The Development Meeting Aujla took place on May 4 in Amritsar. MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla met Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargajj. They discussed major issues linked to city development, environment, and infrastructure.

    The meeting focused on urgent problems like pollution, drainage systems, waste management, and stalled highway projects. Both leaders stressed quick action for improvement.

    Pollution and Environmental Concerns on Development Meeting Aujla with Jathedar

    During the Amritsar Development Meeting Aujla, Aujla raised serious concerns about rising pollution in the city. He said open drains and garbage dumps damage the environment.

    During the meeting, He also warned that untreated sewage is harming public health. People in many areas face dirty water, foul smell, and unsafe living conditions.

    Aujla said that if authorities do not act fast, the situation will get worse. He stressed that clean surroundings are important for a holy city like Amritsar.

    Urban Growth and Tree Cutting Issues

    Aujla discussed rapid urbanization in Amritsar. He said construction work is increasing, but green areas are decreasing.

    He also highlighted the issue of tree cutting in many parts of the city. According to him, this is disturbing the environmental balance.

    He said development should not destroy nature. The city must grow in a planned and sustainable way.

    Stalled Highway and Infrastructure Projects

    The Amritsar Development Meeting Aujla also focused on delayed highway and expressway projects.

    Aujla requested support from Jathedar Kuldeep Singh Gargajj to restart these projects. He said better roads will improve travel for pilgrims and tourists.

    He added that strong infrastructure will boost trade, tourism, and jobs in the region. Good connectivity will also support local businesses.

    Aujla said Amritsar holds global religious importance. Thousands of devotees visit Sri Harmandir Sahib every day.

    He said the city must stay clean, safe, and well-managed. This will protect its spiritual identity.

    He also said that all decisions about religious matters should involve experts and community leaders. This will avoid misunderstandings and maintain harmony.

    Both sides agreed that teamwork is needed for city development. Aujla said administration, society, and government must work together.

    He also said land and farmer issues should be solved through talks. This will help avoid conflict and speed up projects.

    Aujla clarified that he only attended the meeting to discuss development issues. He had no role in any separate religious gathering.
