The Rotaract Club of Amritsar West successfully organized the ICYE Meet-2026 for the Rotaract Club of Deonar (District 3141), aiming to strengthen cultural exchange, fellowship, and community service initiatives between the two clubs.
The event featured multiple activities designed to promote mutual coordination, leadership development, and social responsibility. The program was hosted under the leadership of President Rotarian Yatin Khattra, Secretary Rotarian Arjun Sehgal, and Project Chairman Tarun Sehgal.
The visiting delegation from District 3141 included Rotarians Tamanna, Sunit, Simran, and Harshita Sewani. During their visit, the delegation explored several prominent locations across the city and actively participated in community service activities.
One of the key highlights of the visit was a trip to a local cow shelter, where members participated in feeding cows and supporting ongoing animal welfare initiatives. The delegation also took part in various service-oriented projects aimed at promoting compassion and social engagement.
Later, the members visited Shri Durgiana Temple and the historic Bada Shri Hanuman Mandir. MLA Dr. Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, who was present during the event, interacted with the Rotaractors and appreciated the initiative, emphasizing the importance of youth-driven social service programs.
The visit concluded with a spiritual and historical tour of the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh, leaving participants with memorable experiences and stronger bonds of friendship.
Rotarians Bandita Khanna and Preeti were also present during the program. The ICYE Meet-2026 was regarded as a grand success, significantly strengthening relations between both clubs while promoting international fellowship and collaboration.
