The Indian Youth Congress formally launched the “Constitution Leadership Program” at Rajiv Bhawan in Shimla on Monday. The initiative was organized as per the directions of National In-Charge Manish Sharma and National President Uday Bhanu Chib.
The program was officially introduced during a press conference addressed by National Spokesperson Shubhra Zinta, who outlined the objectives and vision behind the initiative.
Speaking to the media, Shubhra Zinta stated that the primary aim of the program is to develop digitally empowered political influencers. She described the initiative as a political movement rooted in constitutional values and resistance through truth-based communication.
She emphasized that the organization must expand beyond traditional frameworks to connect directly with the masses, highlighting the importance of building an alternative media network to strengthen outreach and public engagement.
Zinta further said that individuals who have demonstrated courage and resilience in challenging circumstances should be encouraged to participate. Developing a strong grassroots media ecosystem capable of challenging corruption, injustice, and institutional silence is among the key goals of the program.
She added that the platform is designed for those who believe media should serve the public rather than power structures, calling it an important opportunity for socially committed individuals.
Under the initiative, selected participants, referred to as “Phygital Leaders,” will receive legal support, identity recognition, political opportunities, technical training, and priority access to organizational resources.
District Shimla Youth Congress President Yogesh Singh Thakur, State Secretary Tushar Stan, Shimla Urban President Atul Thakur, and Shimla Municipal Corporation Youth Congress President Prakash Kanyal were also present at the event.
