State Drug Prevention Board Hamirpur Office Opens

Hamirpur (Kameshwar Sharma): The State Drug Prevention Board Hamirpur office officially started operations on Monday. The office is located in the Savings Building within the Deputy Commissioner’s office complex.

The opening marks an important step in Himachal Pradesh’s fight against drug abuse. Moreover, it strengthens the state’s efforts to spread awareness and prevent substance abuse among youth.

Board Convener and Advisor Naresh Thakur formally assumed charge of the office at around 11:30 AM. Chief Minister’s Political Advisor Sunil Sharma Bittu and several dignitaries attended the event.

New Office Strengthens Anti-Drug Mission

Sunil Sharma Bittu congratulated Naresh Thakur on the establishment of the State Drug Prevention Board Hamirpur office.

He said Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has launched a major campaign against drug abuse in Himachal Pradesh. Therefore, the new office will play a vital role in expanding awareness activities across the state.
