Their goal is to ensure quality education for every child. Under Deputy Commissioner Kiran Bhadana’s guidance, officials have launched several initiatives. In a commendable effort, Rajendra Kumar, a resident of Rangwe village and Central Head Teacher of Government Center Primary School Rangwe, has stepped forward to support the educational needs of migrant children in the district. His contribution has helped strengthen the ongoing mission of promoting migrant children education in Lahaul-Spiti.
Educational Support for 25 Migrant Children
With the support of local School Management Committees (SMCs), Rajendra Kumar provided educational assistance to 25 migrant children studying in different schools across the district.
The beneficiaries include 16 students from Government Center Primary School Lot, three students from Lapshak School, and two students from Tojing School, along with children enrolled in other nearby institutions.
Moreover, the students received stationery items, study materials, school bags, tracksuits, and other essential educational supplies. These resources will help create a better learning environment and encourage regular school attendance.
