In this context, young and active leader Vivek has officially submitted his application for a party ticket from Khaliyar Ward to the District Congress Committee.
Currently serving as District President of OBC Congress (Mandi), Vivek has presented a strong claim before the party leadership. Holding a diploma in civil engineering, he possesses a solid understanding of infrastructure and development needs in the ward. Known for his grassroots connect, Vivek maintains strong coordination with senior leaders while also having direct access to residents across the ward.
National-Level Experience Strengthens Profile
Vivek has contributed not only at the local level but also at the national level within the organization. He has served as an observer in key elections, including the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, as well as polls in Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana, showcasing his organizational capabilities.

Vivek’s residence and office are centrally located in Khaliyar Ward along the National Highway, making him accessible to residents round the clock. Speaking to the media, he said, “My goal is to transform Khaliyar into a model ward. Whether it is addressing landslide issues, reducing dust from four-lane construction, or improving women’s safety through better street lighting, I aim to resolve every issue through scientific planning and public consultation.”

His proposed agenda includes developing playgrounds, setting up open gyms, improving waste management systems, and addressing the issue of stray dogs. Khaliyar Ward, being a women-dominated area, sees Vivek’s accessibility and active engagement as a key advantage in his favor.
