Shimla (Kameshwar Sharma): In a courtesy meeting held in Shimla, Harbhajan Singh, Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation Limited, met Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
During the meeting, Harbhajan Singh expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for entrusting him with this important responsibility. The meeting was described as a formal and cordial interaction between the two leaders.
Harbhajan Singh assured that he would make every possible effort to promote Himachal Pradesh’s rich traditional handicrafts and handloom heritage. He emphasized that special focus would be given to empowering local artisans and weavers, expanding market access for their products, and strengthening the overall handloom sector in the state.
He further stated that several concrete steps would be taken to provide better opportunities and recognition to craftsmen, ensuring sustainable growth of the sector.
The meeting is being viewed as a positive step toward revitalizing and strengthening the handicrafts and handloom industry in Himachal Pradesh.
