Punjab Education Boost New School Rooms Open in Amritsar

Amritsar (Suraj Kamlesh): Under the ongoing education revolution led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government continues to strengthen infrastructure in government schools across the state.

In line with this initiative, newly constructed classrooms at Government Elementary School, Dadoopura in Amritsar district were inaugurated on Thursday by Jaskaran Singh Bandesha, Vice Chairman of the Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation and Lok Sabha Incharge of the Aam Aadmi Party.

He was accompanied by AAP Zonal Media Incharge Advocate Arvinder Singh Bhatti and party leader Balwinder Singh Kala. The school’s Headmaster Gurmeet Singh and staff members extended a warm welcome to the guests.

Addressing the gathering after the inauguration, Bandesha stated that the Punjab government is committed to raising the standard of government schools to compete with private institutions. He emphasized that the “education revolution” is transforming the overall outlook of schools across the state.

He further added that modern technology is now being integrated into government schools, encouraging parents to increasingly enroll their children in public institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Advocate Arvinder Singh Bhatti highlighted that the Aam Aadmi Party government is giving top priority to improving education and healthcare sectors. He noted that the visible transformation of government schools and the establishment of Mohalla Clinics stand as clear evidence of this commitment.

The school administration also honored the guests during the event. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the Sarpanch of village Dadoopura, expressing gratitude to all attendees.
