Amritsar: In a significant crackdown on drug smuggling, Lopoke Police in Amritsar have recovered 1.80 kilograms of heroin along with a drone used for cross-border narcotics delivery.
According to police officials, the drone was being used by smugglers to transport drugs from across the border, highlighting the growing use of advanced technology in illegal trafficking networks.
Acting on a tip-off about suspicious activities in the area, police teams launched a swift search operation. During the investigation, officers successfully recovered a large consignment of heroin along with the drone from the spot.
