Fatehgarh Sahib: Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic bus accident that occurred in the Bassi Pathana area of Fatehgarh Sahib.
The accident took place late last night when a bus carrying devotees returning from Anandpur Sahib after paying obeisance on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas (Vaisakhi) overturned, resulting in fatalities and injuries among the pilgrims.
Expressing condolences, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj prayed for the departed souls, seeking that Akal Purakh grants them eternal peace and gives strength to the bereaved families to accept the divine will.
He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured devotees.
The Jathedar has directed the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to reach out to the affected families and extend all possible assistance to those impacted by the tragic incident.
