Amritsar: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will lay the foundation stone for the renovation of 121 key link roads in the Attari Assembly constituency on April 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM during a state-level event at Dana Mandi Attari.
In preparation for the mega development programme, Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Dalwinderjit Singh chaired a review meeting with district officials at the venue to ensure smooth arrangements for the upcoming event.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to complete preparations well in time so that the state-level function can be conducted in an organized and efficient manner.
He informed that during the event, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will lay the foundation stone for the upgradation of 121 major link roads under the Attari constituency. Following this, he will also address a large public gathering at Dana Mandi Attari.
Officials have been instructed to ensure all necessary arrangements for the public, including adequate seating, drinking water, and basic facilities. Proper parking arrangements near the pandal have also been emphasized to manage the expected crowd smoothly.
The Deputy Commissioner further stated that all assigned duties related to the Chief Minister’s visit should be given top priority and completed within the stipulated time frame.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Rohit Gupta, SDM Amritsar-2 Gurmandar Singh, and other senior district officials.
