Rajouri, December 23 – Security forces recovered arms and ammunition during a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the Rajpura jungle area. The joint operation was launched by 92 Battalion CRPF and SOG Zachaldara.
During the search, a suspicious location was identified, leading to the discovery of hidden explosives and ammunition in the forest. Items seized included 90 rounds of INSAS rifle ammunition, 90 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, and one Chinese hand grenade.
The recovered material has been taken into custody for further investigation.
