US Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard Labels Pakistan a Major Nuclear Threat Sparks Global Concern

US Intel Chief Calls Pakistan Major Nuclear Threat

A major geopolitical controversy has emerged after US Intelligence Chief Tulsi Gabbard made strong remarks about Pakistan during an official briefing on Wednesday, triggering reactions from Washington to Islamabad.

During the intelligence briefing, Gabbard directly named Pakistan among the countries posing the largest nuclear threats to the United States, signaling a significant shift in how the White House views Islamabad. Her statement suggested that Pakistan’s image in US strategic assessments has moved from that of a “partner” to a “serious security concern.”

The intelligence chief also listed China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea as nations rapidly developing advanced missile systems capable of targeting US territory.

According to Gabbard, these five countries are accelerating the development of modern missile technologies capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear warheads. She warned that the extended range of these missile systems now allows potential targeting of nearly every region within the United States.

Expressing further concern, Gabbard highlighted growing strategic cooperation between North Korea, Russia, and China, stating that their strengthening partnership could create a new geopolitical front posing risks to global security.

During the briefing, she also referenced US military actions conducted in June 2025, claiming that American strikes had completely dismantled Iran’s uranium enrichment program. She added that Iran has not attempted to rebuild its nuclear capabilities since those operations.

The remarks are expected to influence future US foreign policy discussions and could further reshape diplomatic relations across South Asia and the broader international security landscape.
